Central Goldfields Shire supports community programs via community grants and its Central Goldfields Art Gallery is a resource for information as well as a program of exhibitions and associated activities. Festivals Australia is a Federal Government program run through the Department of Communication and the Arts. The initiative funds high-quality arts projects that invite community participation and audience engagement. Projects can include but are not limited to a parade, performance, workshop, installation or exhibition.The aim is to give community members living in regional or remote Australia the chance to participate in or attend an arts experience at a festival, or a significant one-off community celebration. The Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal (FRRR) supports a wide range of activities in regional communities. Information about the FRRR is available on its website and also see the attached document.

Mount Alexander Shire funds artists and other community members via Community Grants, and can also support promotion of events, exhibitions, performances and other activities. See the attached document for details.
Regional Arts Victoria is an independent, not-for-profit, membership-based organisation fostering contemporary and innovative regional cultural practice. RAV is the peak body for regional artists and arts organisations, and has a representative based in Ballarat who can support and advise artists and arts workers in the region.
